DHC’s astaxanthin comes in a soft capsule packed with a high concentration of astaxanthin.The raw ingredient is Haematococcus spp., which contains an abundant amount of astaxanthin that gives fishes such as salmon their red color.They are extracted fresh under controlled cultivation in optimal water quality and temperatures.One tablet contains 0.0003 oz (9 mg) of astaxanthin, and we recommend having one per day since it is difficult to supplement through daily diet alone. It is also formulated with vitamin E that works to enhance its function.
